Club Membership and Fees


Membership Categories

  1. Full Membership (£100) - entitles the Member to attend and participate at the Society AGM with full voting rights. The Member is entitled to make use of training facilities provided and to other benefits and support as defined by the Committee.
  2. Full (Senior) Membership (£55) - is defined as a Member of sixty years of age. Membership entitlement is the same as at Full Membership.
  3. Associate Membership (£10) - entitles the Member to attend and participate at the Society AGM but there is no entitlement to vote. Other benefits and support are subject to approval by the Committee.
  4. Junior Membership (£55) - is defined as a Member aged between six and seventeen and shall entitle them to make use of training facilities and such benefits and support as defined by the Committee.
  5. Honorary Membership (Free) - bestowed by the Committee on an individual as recognition of service to the Society and grants full Membership for life.

Subscriptions and Membership Fees

The annual subscription / membership shall be reviewed each year by the Committee, agreed by Members at the AGM and advised to the Kennel Club. The annual subscription will consist of a Membership fee and training fees.

The current amounts are as follows - Membership fees are payable by the 31st of January each year.
All agility / flyball members will pay an annual membership fee of £20.
All agility members will pay a further £80 training fee annually.
Fylball members will pay a weekly training fee of £5.
Honorary membership - there is no membership or training fee.
Associate membership - payment of £10 membership fee.

All paying membership (Full, Senior and Junior) is granted as follows:
Agility - payment of subscription will be in two equal parts due by 31st March and 30th September each year.
Failure to pay on time will debar the member so defaulting from club training and equipment until payments are brought up to date.

Should a member wish to participate in both disciplines only one annual membership is payable. Appropriate payment of the relevant training fees must be undertaken. No member whose subscription is unpaid one calendar month after the aforementioned dates is entitled to any of the privileges of membership and if the member fails to pay outstanding subscriptions by that time, his / her name shall be automatically erased from the register. Acceptance back on the register will be dependent upon a new application and full payment of arrears.

Cheques are to be made payable to Gleniffer Dog Training Club and sent to the Club Treasurer.
Facilities for BACS payment and standing order are available provided they amount to the full payment by the required dates. Please speak to the Treasurer for more details.
